Our Program Fundraising Page

We've reached our fundraising goal for the Bridges Day Program and the program will soon be receiving their tech upgrade!  Thank you for your generous donations.  Please consider helping our friends at other homes/programs receive their technology upgrades.

Since the onset of COVID, The Arc of Essex County’s Bridges Day Program staff has continued to provide engaging sensory activities for our program participants who are primarily on the Autism spectrum.  Many of the activities involve the use of table top items.  With the addition of an iPad and tripod, our instructors will be able to maneuver the camera angles to ensure all participants can view and participate in activities by sorting the table top items by size, color, numbers, and more.

Additionally, a new desktop computer, large monitor, and webcam will enable the team to see more virtual program participants on the screen during stationary activities.  This will enhance our team members’ abilities to interact with the full group.  By outfitting existing desktop computers with webcams, multiple staff can join the virtual broadcast to manage questions from the group and provide real-time feedback to participants.
