There's No Place Like Home!

Home is where we rest, spend time with family and gather with friends, age, feel safe, cook meals, do homework, heal… There’s no place like it.

Increasingly, families with children and adults at every age and ability cannot afford a home in our communities and are at risk of becoming housing insecure or homeless. This affects not just our neighbors, it affects entire communities, too.

Lamoille Housing Partnership is working hard to make affordable homes a reality for more of our neighbors and to shape our communities into vibrant, thriving and inclusive places. We can't do it alone, we need you with us!

About Lamoille Housing Partnership

Lamoille Housing Partnership (LHP) collaborates with communities to create and preserve quality affordable housing opportunities for lower and moderate income earning households in Hardwick and Lamoille County. We envision equitable, inclusive communities where all households regardless of income can thrive in safe, quality, accessible, and affordable homes.

Since 1991, LHP has developed more than 350 income eligible, affordable rental homes. In 2022, we provided more than 460 adults and children with homes in local communities, including survivors of homelessness. As a 501c3 nonprofit, we depend on donations and philanthropic support to break ground on new affordable housing developments and rehabilitate existing infrastructure for use as affordable housing.
