Why  ALK-positive lung cancer? Well, I have ALK-positive lung cancer, so there's that. But sadly, so do tens of thousands of others, of all ages. Most of us have no known risk factor for lung cancer.  And while research has greatly extended our lives, a cure remains elusive. 

For those diagnosed with ALK-positive lung cancer, research means more time. It means a better quality of life.
