Hi! My name is Lorelei and I caught the Equitation bug since my very first lesson in 2019. I have been very fortunate to have found a great barn, an amazing instructor, and wonderful riding friends. My love for the sport truly grows more and more each time I step foot into the barn. I am constantly learning more about riding, horses, and the individual personalities of the horses where I ride. This sport has given me the opportunity to grow as an individual. I have developed more confidence, independence, learned responsibility of caring for large animals, and the discipline it takes to ride and respect the horses. These attributes help me accomplish high grades in school, and maintain the time management skills needed to focus on the barn while there, and focus on my lessons while in school

The skills learned during lessons, friendships being made, and the connections I am making will definitely help me accomplish many milestones in riding. Currently I am working on beginning to jump. Once I start this skill, I will be closer to my long-term goal. My long-term goal is to quality for the Olympics for Equitation. This goal will require focus, determination, and lots of self-discipline, along with time management skills. I know my participation in MET will allow me these opportunities, and experiences that I will cherish for a lifetime.

The donations made will assist me in working towards my goal and allow me more opportunities to become proficient in Equitation. I am so excited to see what my future in horseback riding holds!
