My name is Saamya Kendricks. I am eleven years old. I started riding horses in 2020. I always loved seeing the horses on farms or at fairs and thought it would be fun to learn how to ride. 

I first started riding English style in 2020 and 2021. Then in 2022 I started riding Western style. I found out that I love English style the best. I love building a bond with the horses. I enjoy the friendships that I have with the horses. I love to look at them and how cute they are when they get hay in their hair. I love competing and the friends that I make when I do. My favorite thing to do when riding a horse is trot on the horse. I feel like I am going really fast when I trot. I would love to compete more. I think showing is fun and something I want to keep doing. That is everything about what riding and horses are to me.
