On November 1st, I am walking in memory of my baby boy, Amari Aiden Larrier.
Losing Amari was a heartbreak I could never have imagined — a moment that changed everything. He may not have taken his first breath in this world, but he will forever live in my heart. This walk holds an especially deep meaning for me because the day of the walk is also the day Amari was supposed to be born. What was once meant to be his due date has become a day to honor his memory and celebrate the love that will always connect us. Through this walk, I honor his short but meaningful presence, and I carry his name forward with love and purpose.
By supporting Star Legacy Foundation and the “Let’s Not Be Still” campaign, I hope to bring awareness to the too-often-silent grief of pregnancy and child loss. Every step I take and every dollar raised helps fund research, education, and support for families who, like mine, have faced unimaginable loss.
I walk for Amari.
I walk for all the babies gone too soon.
I walk for hope, healing, and change.
If you’re able, please consider donating in memory of Amari and in honor of all families walking this difficult journey. Together, we can make sure no one walks alone — and that our babies are never forgotten.
Thank you for helping me keep Amari’s light shining.
