In the spirit of community and compassion, Second Presbyterian is excited to support our local interfaith community’s effort to build another Habitat for Humanity house this April. This project aims to provide a safe and affordable home for a deserving family, embodying our shared commitment to faith, service, and love.

Our History

Second Presbyterian’s dedication to the mission of just, sustainable communities for all of God’s people is evident through its 25-year history with Habitat for Humanity. From our first Habitat build in 1990 to today, we aspire to bring hope to homelessness in our beloved community.

Our Partnership

Our church is partnering with other local faith communities to undertake this meaningful project. Together, we will build a home that not only provides shelter but also instills a sense of pride and stability for a deserving family. Our partnership signifies our shared values of compassion, service, and community.

How You Can Help

The total cost of the interfaith build is $70,000. Each partner in the build is faithfully committing to meet this goal together. Your commitment of time and talent will help alleviate housing insecurity for a very special Lexington family!
