Annual Masquerade Ball & Purple Ribbon Awards

Join us on Friday, April 1st for an evening full of celebration, fun and amazing company at the Lupus Foundation of Northern California's Annual Masquerade Ball.

On this evening, we honor outstanding contributions to the lupus community in the Purple Ribbon Awards ceremony, and recommit ourselves to improving lives of those impacted by lupus.  We are excited to FINALLY be back to an in-person event, but if you would rather join us from the comfort and safety of your own home we are also offering this as a virtual event!  You will be able to bid on the Silent Auction items and see to our Purple Ribbon Recipients.

Attire:

Formal, Semi-Formal or Business Attire.

We are so excited to see you in person at the 2022 Gala and we hope you feel comfortable in joining us!  In order to keep everyone safe, we’re kindly requesting that all guests comply with the following COVID health and safety rules in order to safely attend our gala. 

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination–if you have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the event, please bring your vaccination card (or photo of it) and a photo ID to show at the door.

Proof of negative COVID test–if you haven’t been vaccinated, please have a COVID test done within 72 hours before the gala. Please bring your results with you, as well as a photo ID to show at the door.

While Santa Clara County has lifted the mask mandate, you are welcome to wear a face mask during the event.  

Whatever your comfort level is - we hope you will join us and #WearAMask and show lupus it can't hide.

About the Lupus Foundation of Northern California

With a mission to improve lives impacted by lupus, the Lupus Foundation of Northern California has served the lupus community for more than 44 years.  

Dedicated to serving an ethnically and economically diverse population and to providing the widest possible access to services, the Lupus Foundation of Northern California offers programs designed to meet both social and educational needs of patients and their families in English and Spanish, both in-person and online. Focused on those living with lupus as well as on research and advocacy to find a cure, we are proud to be the voice of the northern California lupus community of patients, families, friends and caregivers. Our Mission is  to be a premier source of information on lupus by providing programs and services designed to educate and increase the knowledge of those affected by lupus, promote lupus awareness, and support external lupus research efforts.
