"I am writing to tell you about all of the progress I have made since I started this program…. I was in housekeeping, but since taking classes, now I am in a nursing program… I am able to speak with residents, write up incident reports, and use the computer… I can help others at work, at church, the doctors’ office - everywhere I go…being part of the program is one of the best decisions I have made. Fany is just one of the many Sussex County residents who has been helped by Literacy NJ. Working with trained tutors, our students  improve their literacy skills and improve their lives - they find better jobs, help their children in school, earn certificates and degrees, and become citizens.
