Hello All!  Welcome to my Literacy NJ Atlantic-Cape Region 3 Day Literacy Challenge fundraising page.  Earlier this year I joined Literacy NJ as an adult English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor.  I can’t tell you just how rewarding it has been to see my adult students thrive and grow in their English speaking, reading and writing skills.  My students have jobs and families, yet put so much time and effort into learning how to better communicate with their co-workers, their children’s teachers and others in their communities.   

As one of my students recently wrote:

“I feel good being able to read text and email sent by my son’s school.  In the future, I will be ready for my citizenship test.”

Literacy NJ does so much to help those in need of ESL training as well as basic literacy training and I’m very proud to be a part of this effort.  Please consider making a donation so that we can continue to make a difference!
