We're thrilled to be participating in Literacy NJ’s 3-Day Challenge, a fundraiser supporting Literacy New Jersey, Inc.! This year, our campaign is more important than ever as federal funding for adult education (WIOA Title II) — our primary source of support — is at serious risk.

We're passionate about this cause because we’ve seen firsthand how life-changing free literacy and ESL classes can be for adults working to build better lives for themselves and their families. 

This is what one of our ESL students said: "My name is M., and I am from Peru. When I came to the US 2 years ago, I didn’t speak English and had nothing. Now, I work full-time in the dietary department at the rehabilitation center, have obtained a driver's license, bought a car, and rented a room by myself. I am alone here, and this isn't easy, but thanks to my teachers, Ms. Susan, Ms. Jane, and Ms. Karen, and my classmates, I feel good. Thank you for their patience and kindness."
