On Good Friday, my husband and I heard the worst news of our lives. 34 weeks into my pregnancy, our dear baby boy unexpectedly passed away. I gave birth to our little Jonah on April 1st, Easter day.  He was and is dearly loved.

My husband and I carry the memory of our son everywhere we go with a tattoo of a whale in the shape of a ‘J’ on our wrists.

I am running this 5k to further honor Jonah, to increase awareness about stillbirth, and to raise money for research.
