Join us to raise funds & awareness for Autism/Special Needs. Come prepared as your favorite superhero and walk, run or "fly" to the finish line! 

TWO Options this year: 
1. Timed Superhero 5k- Start Time: 8:30am
2. 1 Mile Superhero Family Walk/Run- Start Time: 10:30am

All of our events are inclusive, meaning for families with autism/special needs and typical families as well. We believe inclusion is the best way to educate our community, highlight the strengths and amazing things our kids and adults with Autism are accomplishing and bring us closer to a world where Autistics will be treated as equals and not "less than".

100% of the proceeds will stay LOCAL to benefit the kids and families in our Lehigh Valley community.

Registration:
Option 1: Timed 5k:
Adults(13 & up)- $35 Early Bird (by 3/30/16)
Youth(6-12)- $25 Early Bird (by 3/30/16)
Child(5 & under)- Free

Option 2: Family 1 Mile:
Adults (13 & up)- Fundraising min. of $25
Youth (6-12)- Fundraising min. of $10 
Child (5 & under)- No fundraising min.


Individuals who raise $100 or more will receive a free event tshirt at the walk.

Special recognition will go to our top fundraising individuals, teams, and corporate teams and sponsors.

Team Cape Contest- Design a Team Superhero Cape for the walk, bring an extra to be displayed and judged during the event

Celebrate Your Superhero's Fantastic Feats- bring a yard sign (as many as you'd like) to recognize your child's special talents, abilities, positive messages to others, milestones or other awesome achievements! 
 

Schedule:

Superhero 5K Walk/Run Schedule: 
7:30am-8:15am- 5k Check-in/Registration 
8:15am- Wecome & Recognition
8:30am- Superheroes are up, up, and AWAY...to the finish line (Timed 5K, about 3.1 miles)
10am- Awards

Family 1 Mile Walk/Run Schedule:
9:30am-10:15am- Family 1 Mile Check-in/Registration
10:15am- Welcome & Recognition
10:30am- Superheroes are up, up and AWAY to the finish line (1 Mile route)

Other activities:

Zumba Warm Up, DJs, bands
8:30am-1pm- Superhero Face Painting/Masks
8:30am-1pm- Live Learn & Play Area- multisensory area for all ages/abilities, quiet area available
8:30am-1pm- Vendor/Resource Fair- info and fun Superhero-themed games/activities
8:30am-1pm- Superheros' Superpowers & Fantastic Feats (don't forget to make your signs!)
12pm- Announcement of Costume Contest Winners and Team Cape Winners

Live Learn & Play Area- designated area at the walk with Sensory Activities and fun for all ages and ability levels. Activities will include a quiet area, crash mat, sand table, mini trampoline, ball pit, sensory swing and much more!

Vendor/Resource Fair- fun family activities, games for the kids, some prizes and information for parents about local resources, services, and programs.
