On June 1, 2022, our son Beckett Michael was stillborn weighing 2 lbs 15 oz. Beckett passed away due to a placental abruption caused by severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. As a result, I was became very sick and needed life-saving care by an amazing team of doctors at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. This was not something we ever expected or had even considered could happen, so we want to raise awareness and support for others affected by stillbirths.
