Join Literacy New Jersey’s 5 Day Fundraising Challenge!

I am so proud to be part of the effort to raise the level of literacy in New Jersey. I have been a Literacy Volunteer for three years. During that time I have worked closely with my students to help them help themselves. Mastering the English language has giving them more independence and opportunities for growth. It has been an amazing journey to witness first hand how education can and does make a difference in people's lives.

During the pandemic almost 2,000 students have engaged in remote learning and 539 volunteer tutors have become online instructors in New Jersey. COVID could not stop our dedicated team of students and tutors.
