Literacy NJ Monmouth provides literacy instruction services at no cost to residents of Monmouth County. Our program helps ESL and basic literacy students improve their English reading, writing and speaking skills so that they can improve and change their lives for the better.
During the course of the pandemic, LNJ Monmouth went virtual and our students never stopped learning. In fiscal year 2021, 60 dedicated volunteer tutors worked with over 120 students using Zoom, FaceTime and WhatsApp and LNJ provided technology training and tutor resources for tutors and their students.
