My Personal Fundraising Page

My love for reading and the importance of education led me to become a literacy volunteer with Literacy New Jersey two years ago. 

Since then I've worked with individuals and groups, helping them to learn and feel comfortable with the english language. I have great admiration for these adults striving to learn a second language or increase their basic literacy skills.  Watching a student progress and gain understainding has immeasurable rewards!

Join Literacy New Jersey for a 10 Day Literacy Challenge. In the coming year we will recruit, train and match volunteer tutors with students all over NJ. Your donation today makes that possible.

Our students have read bedtime stories, opened businesses, voted for the first time, become US citizens, gotten their diplomas and become tutors for others. Thank you for 40 years of supporting amazing student moments.
