This year we have seen our students take on so many new challenges as they faced 2020’s never ending curveballs. Our students are the essential workers who keep our communities running. They are the parents who made sure their children kept learning during quarantine. They’re the brave individuals who learned how to take part in remote classes so they could work towards their goals even during a pandemic.

Jan and I are both the children of immigrants so we know firsthand the sacrifices our fathers made for us.
