Lancaster Partnership Program Think 30 to Graduate!

The Lancaster Partnership Program (LPP) was established in 1988 and has a 30-year legacy of serving students and families of the School District of Lancaster.  Students and families that are a part of the School District of Lancaster receive free college development workshops, financial literacy opportunities, guidance as they navigate the college admissions process, and most importantly students that attend Millersville University are provided scholarships of up to $5,000 in order to help with the cost of their Fall and Spring semesters. 

When students attend Millersville University, they continue to receive one on one support to encourage and reassure their success as they transition to college and adulthood.  With the cost of higher education increasing, LPP would like to provide students the opportunity to earn more credits throughout the year so that they can finish their degrees within a reasonable time.  The Lancaster Partnership Program provides students the best opportunities available to be successful at Millersville University!

Millersville University and LPP have started the "Think 30 to Graduate Initiative" to encourage students to earn 30 credits each academic year in order to save more, earn more and graduate on time.

Students who earn 30 credits per year have a 40% higher chance of finishing their degree and on average these students earn a full letter grade higher than those who do not complete 30 credits.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to provide LPP students the opportunity to take additional courses during the winter and summer terms so that students can graduate in 4 years.  Raising funds will give LPP students the opportunity to stay on track for the 4-year graduation plan, leaving less likelihood of them dropping out. In addition to providing students the opportunity to earn more credits, these funds will also help support the cost of books and school supplies for the courses taken.
