The water table will represent the Ohio and Erie Canal, which visitors can interact with via an Archimedes’ Screw, water wheel, and water locks. The exhibit will engage children with various learning outcomes, including how we must be stewards of water and how water has shaped our region. Kids can learn about water conservation by discovering how water connects us to all living things and how locks facilitate the transportation of goods and services to people living in our region 200 years ago.
