Marathon Oil Bowl-A-Thon

I joined JA when I was in high school. It was such a great experience and I really learned a lot. We made grapefruit knives and sold them door to door. It was fun making and packaging the product. It was challenging to sell them door to door. I'd say we did a good job of making our product because some people didn't believe we made the product ourselves because it looked so professional. I also gained experience with holding an office in our group. I was the treasurer, and I'm sure this lead to my career in accounting!
