I’m thrilled to be participating in Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement (MAVA), a fundraiser supporting Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement (MAVA)! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

Throughout my nonprofit career, from my college days as president and founder of the UW-Stout American Red Cross Club, to the creation of my own volunteer based nonprofit, to roles as volunteer manager and volunteer lead, I have leaned on MAVA for their guidance and support to the success of these programs, and many other volunteer programs around the state. Now, I sit on the board and am proudly a part of the public policy committee and co-chair of the DEI Committee and I can proudly state that this organization is going places. The operational team, the new executive director and the dedicated board are all aspects that make this organization one that is near to my personal passion of empowering others to strive for their own personal excellence. 

Volunteerism is one of the most important pillars in our society. The opportunity to give back to someone else and make a difference just by being human and dedicating your time to a great cause is the reason this nonprofit exists. To encourage, support, and guide volunteer efforts and programs to reach new heights of giving back.
