Mrs. Larpenteur's Grant Wish - 

This grant will be used to update and enhance the resources available in Vega's elementary school maker space, fostering an environment where creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning thrive. The makerspace serves as a vital hub where students can explore STEAM concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and bring their ideas to life through experimentation and invention. Teachers are also able to check out the materials to use in their classroom. The activities and materials offered in the library's maker space are planned to enhance the district's curriculum, incorporate the new grade level technology TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) while supporting the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards.
