The “Prints of Possibility” project aims to secure grant funding to purchase a classroom set of 8x10 Gelli print plates for the Webb elementary art room. Gelli printing, a monoprinting technique that involves creating prints on a gel-like surface, provides a dynamic and hands-on approach to art education that captivates students of all ages. By integrating Gelli plates into the art curriculum, I can offer students the opportunity to explore printmaking in a fun and engaging way, developing their creativity, fine motor skills, and understanding of artistic concepts.
