What can we find you doing when you're not whipping up a dish for Men Who Cook?

We love spending time as a family on the farm with our horses or when some down time is needed, out on the open road on a Harley Davidson. I also like cooking meat on a grill or smoker and learning new recipes to try.

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

The SECU Family House does a great service for our community by helping take care of folks when they are in a time of need. We need to do our part to help support this great cause.

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

Grilled Cheese sandwich!

Name a fun fact people may not know about you.

I am a proud dad to three great children  - Adi, Bristol & Hudson. Seeing them be brave, try new things and succeed makes me happy!

I love spending time with my family, playing a little golf, and relaxing at the beach!

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

The SECU Family House provides much needed support to families traveling to Winston Salem to receive medical care. We believe it is important to support our community and the SECU Family House.

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

My first dish I ever prepared was an omelet at age 5 (with my mother's guidance, of course). Since then, I spent many hours with her in the kitchen.

Name a fun fact people may not know about you.

I love to fly, and I am working on a private pilot's license.

What can we find you doing when you're not whipping up a dish for Men Who Cook?

Spending time with my Wife and 3 children. We have 3 boys and we love the outdoors. We spend a lot of time on the baseball field in the spring and summer and basketball court in the fall and winter. When I can sneak away and play a round of golf I will do that!

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

Being able to give back to our community is very important to me. The Family House is such a great cause and helps so many families in our area. I am honored to be able to help out with this amazing organization and participate in the competition this year.

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

Baking brownies with my mom when I was a kid. I always liked to clean the bowl up at the end!

Name a fun fact people may not know about you.

I love to Bowl. I used to bowl competitively in leagues and tournaments in state and out of state. I have bowled a perfect game of 300.
