What can we find you doing when you're not whipping up a dish for Men Who Cook?

You can likely find me in the woods or on an adventure with Scout Troop 749, of which I am honored to be the Scoutmaster.

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

My parents instilled in me at an early age that it is imperative for those thar are able to give back to their community. The SECU Family House helps people when they are in many cases having some of the toughest days of their lives.

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

I remember as a 5 year old assisting my mom when she was making dinner. You see, she was a Home Economics teacher and my father grew up on a home where his mom did everything for her boys. I'm not even sure dad had ever boiled water at the point that my parents were married. My mom was determined that we would know our way around the kitchen and, the laundry room.

Name a fun fact people may not know about you.

I own the original grill grate from the original grill of the original Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon. I use it frequently within my catering business.

Driving around in my 2007 ragtop Jeep Wrangler, enjoying my never ending yard work, and walking my two dogs with my wife!

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

The SECU Family House is a wonderful asset to the community and this is one of my ways to "give back"!

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

Eggs, easy over and omelets. and my mother taught me how to cook lots of stuff, like pot roast and meatloaf, a all kinds of vegetables.
