What can we find you doing when you're not whipping up a dish for Men Who Cook?

Most likely spending time in the garden, spending time with my close friends and fellow Urology residents, and cooking up a storm of my own in my modest home kitchen!

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

As a resident physician, it is important to me that my patients and their loved ones are able to find not only excellent care but also comfortable and convenient lodging for themselves and their loved ones. The SECU Family House is part of what makes Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist a shining star in the region, and why our patients take such pride in housing their care here.

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

The first thing I remember cooking was scrambled eggs with my mom to prepare me for mornings alone before school.

Name a fun fact people may not know about you.

I have experience in cultivating a wide variety of fermentation methods, from pickles, to bread, to beer, and even wine! It's a love I picked up in college and held through the present day.
