What can we find you doing when you're not whipping up a dish for Men Who Cook?

You can find me in national parks exploring and hanging out with my family on vacation. Locally, you will find me volunteering a lot with the United Way as part of Emerging Leaders United or gardening in my backyard.

Why is it important to you to give back (to the SECU Family House)?

The SECU Family House provides a place to stay for those who travel to the Piedmont for medical treatment or for their family members. Because of this, families only have to worry about getting better rather than the extended boarding costs.

What was the first thing you remember cooking?

The first thing I remember cooking was spaghetti with meat sauce when I was a kid.

I have been ice climbing on glaciers in Iceland.
