Although those words from St. Therese of Liseaux remind us to always keep our gaze heavenward, the volunteers at Mercy Ships are truly doing work on their ships that is life-changing and bringing God's boundless mercy to people in every corner of the world.  In our latest Frey family fundraiser, we hope to raise $5000 to cover the cost of a hospital renovation.  For many patients, healing and recuperation take time. So, Mercy Ships uses an existing building in the port city for use as a patient care center. This renovated facility provides a safe and clean environment for the patients and their families to stay during their recuperation. After the ship leaves the port, the newly renovated healthcare facility is used to increase the community's healthcare capacity and access.
