I know that you are inundated with invitations to fundraisers and often asked by friends to sponsor a cause that has impacted their life in some meaningful way... I too give to many of these very worthwhile organizations. 

 

As you likely know, Seth, Sawyer and I embarked on a very special project of our own two years ago when we welcomed Cody into our family.  Needless to say, we have not looked back, but maybe that's because Cody is always on the move and we are constantly running to keep up with him!  These past two years have been filled with so much life, love, tears, insanity and new experiences, and for all of it, we are so grateful.  Cody is a constant ray of sunshine in the life of everyone he meets as I am sure you can attest (even if he does drive us crazy sometimes!).  

 

 

 

I recently joined the board of the Marin Foster Care Association, and am co-chairing a walk-a-thon that will benefit Marin County foster families in a variety of really significant ways.  The attached link will tell you about the MFCA, so I won't be redundant but instead ask that you consider sponsoring Seth, Sawyer, Cody and me as we walk a mile on May 15 to raise funds in support of the 70-100 foster children living in out-of-home care in Marin County.  The Marin Foster Care Association is a very lean machine... every dollar donated really will make a difference and I promise you will feel great about making this contribution.  In advance, we thank you for your consideration!
