When COVID-19 hit our county, Manna relied on the generosity of our community to enable us to stay safe and keep serving. Since March, we have seen nearly a 40% increase in families seeking assistance every month. In response, Manna expanded services and developed a home delivery program that has completed over 2,000 deliveries already. We have also continued our Smart Sacks collaboration with MCPS, distributing twice as many weekend bags to school-aged children at locations across the county.
