Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their local communities.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought illness, loss, and economic hardship to many families, and demand for food support in Montgomery County grew higher than we ever could have imagined. Through collaboration with partners and our staff and volunteers' dedication and ingenuity, we are proud of how Manna developed new and better ways to support our neighbors. In 2021 we distributed more than 5 million pounds of food, helped hundreds of clients access SNAP benefits, and supported over 4,000 students through Smart Sacks

Manna Food Center's work continues as our neighbors navigate price increases at grocery stores and an unsteady economic recovery. With your help, we can stand ready to support our neighbors this Holiday season. Sustain our work this Giving Tuesday with a single or monthly contribution.

Thanks to the generosity of the David & Naomi Balto Family, donations to Manna's Giving Tuesday campaign will be matched up to $25,000.
