Thank you for visitng my fundraising page!  If you got this far, I take it you're kinda curious about donating to NYCGMC, which is fantastic for many reasons.  First, I'm in it, so that's neat.  But beyond keeping me plenty busy, for the past 40 years NYCGMC has commited itself to building bridges for the LGBT community locally and around the world through song.  In just the past few years, our activisim has spread through Europe, North, and Central America. From stories of coming out and family acceptance, to sweeping national legistative changes, I can assure you from first hand experience how vital an organization like NYCGMC is to our commuity, even with the increidble progress of the LGBT movement in the last 50 years.  

On a personal note, I joined NYCGMC four years ago on a whim.  Partly because I wanted a creative outlet, and partly just to keep me occupied.  I was not prepared for how these kids would change me, and prove to me that I am capable of much more than I allow myself to beleive.  I've been able to perform for idols, LGBT seniors, national audiences, and everything and everyone in between.  I pulled Gigi St. Croix out of retirement, and have taken on directing a show for the first time in over ten years.  

As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of friends like you.  If you feel like you've seen me thriving lately, it's probably because this group has given more love and hope to me and the world than can be measured. I ask from the bottom of my heart for whatever you feel you can offer. Every donation allows us to spread tolerance via world class stages, national television, and your local school.
