I’ve been a member of the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus for 12 years and I’m proud to participate in the NYCGMC 2018 Membership Fundraising drive. I am particularly proud of these two recent events:
In 2014, we donated a performance in downtown Dublin which ended up raising almost 20% of the total budget for the “yes campaign“ for the Republic of Ireland’s 2015 marriage equality referendum (which passed!!).
In 2017 we invited Coro Gay de Ciudad Mexico to join us for our New York concerts, and in 2018 we went to Mexico City and Puerta Vallarta to sing with them as part of our continuing advocacy for newer chorus in the LBGTQ choral movement worldwide.
