As a fairly new Midwest Eye Consultants Office, we are excited to participate in raising funds and awareness for Leader Dogs for the Blind. Our office enjoys participating in outreach to the community, and have done so in the past by volunteering with the Girl Scouts and the Defenders Dash. With the Girl Scouts “I Can Be Anything” program, our staff spoke about their careers in eye care and passed out information to help show young girls that they can aspire to be anything they want to be. In September, we had a booth at the Defenders Dash to honor the men and women in our community that work every day to keep us safe. Drs. Karen Norrick and Eric Skorupa strive every day to provide the best experience and care for the patients that come to our office. 

We have held fundraisers in the office for charities, which have given us many great ideas to jumpstart our efforts for Leader Dogs for the Blind. We look forward to implementing these ideas and coming up with creative and fun ways to involve our local community in supporting this incredible organization.
