Children are the most vulnerable among us. We must protect them.

We Need YOUR Help

As much as we’ve been able to achieve in helping children in need, there is still so much more to do. If we work together—with YOU—we can make the vision of a better living condition for our vulnerable children a reality.

IRUSA has pledged to $2.1 million to help the Afghans fleeing conflict, poverty, and drought arriving to America through the regional offices in Kabul, Balkh, Herat, and Nangar-har provinces. Through YOUR donations and with the help of our donors, more than 65,000 orphans are being sponsored by the global Islamic Relief community masha’Allah!

What your donation will provide for a family:

$25          Basic Household Resources

$50          Provide Food Aid

$100        Relief for Emergency Survivors

$150        Deliever Hygiene Kits

$250        Allow for Vocational Training

$500        Open up for Access for Healthcare

Even a $25 donation can help provide for a family in need.

What is Happening in Afghanistan

Afghanistan is currently enduring the largest and worsening humanitarian crisis; after the Taliban occupied the Afghan government in August 2021, most international assistance was discontinued, leaving the Afghans to fend for themselves. Although the situation has been extreme for years, it heightened in September 2021, when the U.N. imposed sanctions on Afghanistan. In just 2021, nearly 700,000 citizens were forced to leave their homes and relocate to other areas of Afghanistan.

By shedding light on the reality of the situation, we hoped to raise funds and recognition. The current situation the Afghans face is a crime against humanity; as people have become desensitized to this tragedy by the media, we wanted to illustrate the state of urgency and immediate action that is needed to alleviate the struggles of the Afghans. Through our campaign, we want to ensure that people understand the extent of the crisis and that their money would be going towards the Afghan children who are unable to sustain themselves during this time.
