We’ve delivered life-saving aid in provinces such as Hodeida, Ta’iz, Saa’da, and Aden. Notable charities depend on Islamic Relief to deliver their aid due to our work across the provinces.

Crisis: In my  time of exploring the Yemeni conflict, I've discovered numerous compelling reasons to extend assistance to Yemen. The humanitarian crisis, marks the displacement and health challenges, it underlines the urgent need for external support.  Even the countries that don't always get along understand how serious Yemen's situation is and are working together to help. This shows that global problems affect everyone, so it's important for countries to cooperate and find solutions together.​

Children Of Yemen: In the heartbreaking reality of Yemen's conflict, the innocent children are facing unimaginable hardships. Being displaced, struggling with healthcare, and dealing with malnutrition are like dark clouds over their lives, threatening their very essence. Dreams of education are crushed amid the echoes of conflict, and the emotional toll of violence leaves scars on their tender hearts. The world recognizes the urgency, but beyond the numbers, there are resilient faces of children yearning for a bit of normalcy. Humanitarian efforts are their lifeline, but the plea for continued compassion and support echoes in the strong spirits of Yemen's children as they navigate a path marked by challenges, hoping for a brighter tomorrow.​

Horrifying Facts Of Children In Yemen: 

1.  Yemen is facing one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, with millions of children suffering from acute malnutrition. Around 2.3 million children under the age of five are acutely malnourished, including 400,000 who are severely malnourished and at risk of death.

2. Disease and Lack of Healthcare: The ongoing conflict has devastated Yemen's healthcare system, leaving children vulnerable to preventable diseases. Diseases like cholera, diphtheria, and measles are rampant, and many children lack access to lifesaving medical treatment due to the destruction of hospitals and clinics.

3. Displacement: The conflict has forced millions of Yemeni children and their families to flee their homes, leading to widespread displacement and instability. Many children are living in overcrowded displacement camps or makeshift shelters, where they lack access to basic necessities like food, clean water, and sanitation.

4. Education Disruption The conflict has disrupted the education of millions of Yemeni children, with many schools damaged or destroyed and teachers unpaid for months. As a result, many children are unable to attend school, depriving them of their right to education and putting their future at risk.

5. Trauma and Psychological Impact: The violence and instability in Yemen have taken a severe toll on children's mental health, with many experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression.
