Yemen is currently facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, with over 22 million people suffering throughout the country. They barely have any food and lack access to clean water and good healthcare. Yemen has one of the highest rates of malnourishment in the world, with around 11.9 million people suffering. Over 80% of the population is struggling to obtain basic necessities and services, with millions of people lacking access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene services. The country faces regular outbreaks of cholera, measles, diphtheria and other vaccine-preventable diseases.
Islamic Relief has been working hard to ensure help to 2 million people every month. They have been able to help out over 3.4 million people with food aid, water, sanitation and healthcare, and livelihood support and have supported and strengthened 188 health facilities.
Join us as we partner with Islamic Relief to fund aid for Yemen, and help diminish one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world.
