COVID-19 has made it more clear than ever…good nurses are critical to a community’s health. MJC’s nursing program has been one of the finest in the state of California since the 1960’s, producing 60%+ of local nurses. Well trained and willing to work in the most challenging circumstances. This year’s campus fundraising event to provide nursing student scholarships was cancelled due to the pandemic. Please help us raise $8,000 for this vital program in our region. Thank you in advance for your support.
Tania Barjesteh, a 2016 MJC nursing grad, works at Doctor’s Medical Center, including the COVID-19 Unit. Tania states, “the MJC Nursing Program gave me a real glimpse of what it would be like to be a nurse and prepared me for the real world we are facing right now.” Students like Tania need financial assistance to finish the program and get to work saving lives. That’s why we ask for your assistance today.
