I am riding in the first annual 360 Cycling Series ride on May 11th; this is a benefit ride for MileHigh360 - a Denver-based youth development program that I have been supporting for the past few years. I am riding to raise $500 for the MileHigh360 students. All of the money that we raise will go toward summer programming for MileHigh360's middle-school students; summer programming spans 5 weeks and is 37 hours per week. Students will do everything from book club classes to composition classes to a 5-day/4-night bike-packing trip. These students join MileHigh360 as 6th graders and remain a member of the program through age 24. It is an amazing journey for the students and for the folks like me who get involved. MileHigh360 provides year-round support for each one of its students to ensure a life of independance and choice is the final outcome.
