About the Organization

The mission of Missing GRACE Foundation is to provide support, resources and education for families and professional care providers when there is loss of a baby. We offer healing hands of comfort when someone experiences a pregnancy loss, infant loss, infertility or adoption challenges, by giving them opportunities to G.R.A.C.E.Grieve, Restore, Arise, Commemorate and Educate.

Missing GRACE Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit public charity and the EIN is 56-2593479

The Missing GRACE headquarters are located in Rogers, Minnesota at The Center for G.R.A.C.E. The Center provides free counseling services, a library, gift shop, castle-play-area for children, support groups, educational meetings, and complimentary coffee, refreshments and free Wi-Fi in the Fireside Community Room. The organization provides a bereavement care package {the GRACE Care Baskets/Totes} to hospitals to assist and comfort parents at the time they learn their baby will not survive or will die. The contents are invaluable to parents as they help them create memories in that brief time and prevent the family from having regrets.

Welcome to the 10th Minnesota Hope & Hearts 5K Run/ Memorial Walk event site!

Join us Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Bunker Hills Regional Park in Coon Rapids!

Teams can create their Memorial Fundraising Pages and all are welcome to register for the event by clicking on the menu options above!

Online Registration Closes at 11:59pm on Sept. 17th and prize winners for Top 3 Teams and Youth Fundraiser are determined by Totals shown on the Leaderboard at 11:59pm on Sept. 17th.

To register ON-SITE - Go to Pavilion #2 on event day - Sept. 19th.

Share the story of your baby or child by creating a Memorial Page in their memory and help raise funds as a Team to support the mission of Missing GRACE Foundation.

There are 2 entrances to the park. The North entrance gatehouse is closest to the pavilions #3 and #2 where our Hope & Hearts event takes place.
North Entrance:
Bunker Lake Blvd (also called Country Rd 116)
Enter into park at County Park Road A

All participants must check-in at the Registration Station, and complete the waiver.

The Run is a Timed 5K event and times are posted afterwards and online.
The Memorial Walk is a shorter distance, it is 3.8K.

Pre/Post Race Food/Drink: You are invited to enjoy water, coffee, juice, bagels, muffins and fruit at the Refreshment Station. Vendors are also at the event, so bring along cash!

The run and walk take place on the same path and the paths are mostly paved, however, there are areas that have sand, gravel/ rock, which can be difficult for rollerblades, scooters and some wheelchairs. Everyone is welcome to participate though! Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash and you must pick up after them.

Children 12 and under can attended the event for FREE if participating with a registered adult in the Memorial Walk but they must still be registered by a parent or guardian and have a waiver completed by their parent/ guardian.

For children to receive an event T-shirt, they must be registered / pay for the Kids' Fun Dash ($10) OR you can buy them a shirt on our T-shirt order form or onsite at the event.

*Important T-shirt information - NEW this year! 

The T-shirt cut off date for receiving an Event shirt with your registration fee, was September 8th, 2015. T-shirts are no longer available for free with your pre-registration.

On event day, there will be T-shirts and a variety of apparel (hats, hoodies, etc) available FOR SALE/ FOR A FEE that can be professionally imprinted and personalized at a vendor booth.

The registration fee is still required for entrance and participation to the event (free food, enterainment, the run/walk and balloon for the Hearts to Heaven Balloon release, are all included in the registration fee).

There is a $5 parking fee charged per car at the gate entrances to the park that Anoka County collects. Seasonal park pass holders do not have to pay this fee. The $5 fee is not given to Missing GRACE and the organization does not benefit from this parking fee.

1. 5K Run Top Male Finisher
2. 5K Run Top Female Finisher
3. Top Team Fundraisers (Most Funds Raised by a Team)
4. 2nd Place Team Fundraisers
5. 3rd Place Team Fundraisers
6. Youngest Top Fundraiser (17 years and younger who raised the most funds)

To qualify for prizes: Youth 17 and younger must register with Missing GRACE by calling 763-497-0709 and have a parent or guardian help to set up their Fundraising page here on Hobnob.


*Winners are determined by the totals listed on the Leaderboard on this page on Thursday, 11:59PM, September 17th, 2015, two days before the run (both online and offline totals that the Team Captain has entered on their page are honored).
