We are so excited for Santa Cruz County's third annual MOVE For CASA to take place on Saturday, May 6! We are even more excited to announce that we are partnering with CASA of Monterey County this year as we look to build community and expand partnerships across the Monterey Bay!
We invite all members of our community to join a team or form one of your own and walk, run, hike, or roll anywhere.
Join CASA Advocates, The Friends of CASA, Staff, Board, and Supporters of both Monterey and Santa Cruz counties at Elkhorn Slough Reserve at 1700 Elkhorn Road in Watsonville.
If you're joining us at the Slough, we'll have coffee and refreshments available from 9 am and will kick the event off at 9:30 am. We plan on doing a 3 mile loop but there are shorter and longer distances available and there is a wheelchair accessible trail option.
Every person who registers to walk and raises at least $100 will be entered into a raffle!
All proceeds from this event support CASA of Monterey and Santa Cruz County's missions to match every foster youth referred to us with a trained volunteer Advocate. Because of your support, the most vulnerable children and youth in our community have are receiving more services, performing better academically and behaviorally in school, and are simply experiencing a stronger sense of hope.
