The Value of Having a CASA

CASA: Empowering Youth

Thank you Sponsors!

MOVE for CASA!

We are so excited for Santa Cruz County's fourth annual
MOVE For CASA to take place on
Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 10:00am!

We invite all members of our community to join a team or form one of your own and walk, run, hike, or roll.

Join CASA Advocates, The Friends of CASA, Staff, Board, and Supporters of CASA and the families we serve at Elkhorn Slough Reserve at 1700 Elkhorn Road in Watsonville.

If you're joining us at the Slough, we'll have coffee and refreshments available from 9:30 am and will kick the event off at 10:00 am. We plan on doing a 3 mile loop but there are shorter and longer distances available as well as a wheelchair- accessible trail option.

All proceeds from this event support CASA of Santa Cruz County's mission to match every foster child and justice-involved youth in our community with a trained volunteer Advocate and mentor.

Because of your support, the most vulnerable children and youth in our community are receiving more services, performing better academically and behaviorally in school, and are simply experiencing a stronger sense of hope.

Thank you for Moving for CASA to help make positive change for children and youth in foster care and giving them an opportunity to thrive.

Every person who registers to walk will receive a hat, courtesy of our sponsor, Aurora Wonder Lowe Properties!

Please send any photos or videos on why you MOVE for CASA to magi@casaofsantacruz.org or let us know if you have any questions.
