Hi we are the Franke's, an American family of five from Cincinnati, Ohio serving aboard the largest civilian hospital ship, the Global Mercy in Sierra Leone. We are part of a charity of hospital ships that provide free and safe surgical care and training to countries in desperate need of medical care.
Krystal is serving as the preoperative manager aboard the Global Mercy and helps encourage & lead a special team of nurses and day crew onboard as we screen patients for surgery and prepare them for surgery onboard.
Our Family: Zach, Krystal, Leo (3.5 y.o.), Noah (2.5 y.o.) & Olive (17 months).
Zach, has a background in entrepreneurship, marketing & sales and has given up his day job to be a stay-at-home dad onboard to take care of our three lovely little humans, Leo (3.5 yrs old), Noah (2.5 years old) and Olive 17 months old.
The most important thing to know about our family is that we are propelled and supported by the saving work of Jesus. We love, because He is love and He loved us first.
