We are Curt & Karin Rosen and we are excited to be joining the Mercy Ships team. We have been married for 27 years and have two adult sons and a daughter in-law. We are Pacific Northwesterners to the core and love taking in Gods creation from the beaches to the mountains. We will be leaving the PNW to serve in West Africa on the Global Mercy which is currently docked in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Karin will be an Elementary Teacher in the Mercy Ships Academy and Curt will be a part of the Chaplain Team working to support the spiritual needs and growth of the large international crew.

Throughout our journey with Christ we have strived to make the Great Commandment, "Love God and Love Others" a central core of our lives. Mercy Ships is a place that we will get to practice this on many levels. Over the last few years we have sensed God asking us to place the currency of our lives in His hands to serve Him over seas. It's with excitement and anticipation that we are now stepping out in faith on this new journey.
During our two plus years of service we would be honored if you would consider partnering with us both financially and in prayer. While we are away, our financial obligations here at home will continue along with the expenses of serving overseas. As you support us financially you make it possible for us to serve unhindered in Africa and in so doing, provide the hope of Jesus to those in need. This page represents our two year fundraising goal but it may change as needs arise or if our service length extends.
