"On-Leash" the Fun!

The annual Mutt Strut to support CCHS is an event for dogs, and the people who love them. The event has:

A celebratory dog-walk, led by Mutt Strut Champions, "Top Dog" and "Mr. and Ms. Popular".

  • New This Year!: you're invited to either "strut" your way to the After Paw-ty, or complete the loop back to the park

Tons of dog friendly games and activities:

  • Unleash your dog's inner artist at Paw Crafting
  • Have fun and earn prizes at the "Barkade"
  • Get the zoomies at the Agility Course
  • Pick up dog-swag at our vendor booths

Contests and prizes, for your pet to shine!

  • Does your pet have the fastest tail wag? The longest sit and stay? Let's find out!
  • The Peanut Butter Licking Contest! (Everybody loves this Mutt Strut favorite!).

The After Paw-ty

6 PM - 8 PM, Sunday May 3, 2026

Sit. Stay. Sip!

After the excitement of the Mutt Strut (or whatever else you had going on on May 3), enjoy a beer at Triptych's Taproom. You can continue to support CCHS by pre-registering for the After Paw-ty. You don't need to register in advance (or at all!), so to thank you for helping us plan, you'll receive a drink ticket for the "Paw-ty", worth $5.

You don't need to go to Mutt Strut to enjoy the After Paw-ty!

Any dog lover can come enjoy dinner at the food trucks, and a cool Triptych brew, while supporting CCHS.

Parking:

  • For the Mutt Strut: If the Burwash Park parking lot is full, please park at either First Baptist Church of Savoy (to the west of the park), or the north lot of the Phoenix Theaters Savoy 16+IMAX (to the south of the park).
  • For the After Paw-ty: For the After Paw-ty, you're welcome leave your car where it's parked for Mutt Strut. If you choose to move your car, parking is available at the Taproom and neighboring businesses.

What do I need to bring?:

  • Mutt Strut: If attending with a dog, you must bring (1) their proof of vaccination (2) a 6-foot non-retractable leash
  • After Paw-ty: Cash, if you'd like your good time to support CCHS!

Restrooms: There will not be restrooms available at Burwash Park. The nearest restrooms we have access to will be at the Triptych Taproom.

Do I need to pre-register?:

  • Mutt Strut: No. Walkup registration is always welcome! Please note that prices will rise by $5 on the day of the event.
  • After Paw-ty: No. The Taproom will be open to the public at that time, and there is no need to pre-register. If you choose to pre-register, guests 21+ will receive a drink ticket for a can of Triptych at the event, valued at $5.
