 Raise 5k Charity Drive

September 11-14 2022

Each Year the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ) works with our planning team to designate a local charity to support in conjunction with our NAFTZ Annual Conference & Exposition. Based on raising the highest donations on record at the Annual Conference last year for an issue close to the heart of our membership, NAFTZ is partnering with Feeding South Florida again at our Annual 2022 Conference in person, to help deliver to those in need.

NAFTZ is proud to partner with Feeding South Florida, , known as the largest and most efficient hunger-relief organization in South Florida.  

When the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020, Feeding South Florida experienced a doubling in need for its services (45% being first time seekers). Now, it is estimated that 1 in 9 individuals don't know where they will get their next meal and 1 in 6 children go to bed hungry. Feedin South Florida strives to provide immediate access to nutrious meals throughout the community. 

The impacts of your gifts are enormous. With every $1 providing 9 meals, each donation quickly multiplies to make a significant impact. Our goal is to raise $5,000 by September 24, 2022.

“Walk, Run, Support’”  

Please join us in giving back to the community! Be sure to get everyone involved in raising 5K & capture the actions you are taking in support of the cause -there will be challenges throughout the event so be sure to recruit your family/friends to run/walk/crawl or simply support the cause online). Even though the Charity 5k Fun Run/Walk is held at 6am on Sept. 12, there are opportunities to support the cause before, during and after the event. Whether you run, walk, or donate directly, we can’t thank you enough for your support!
