I want to express my heartfelt thanks to you for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page for this important cause. Many of you know that my sweet grandson Bruce was born with a congential heart defect two and a half years ago. He had his first surgery when he was one day old.  We're so grateful he's doing ok now.... but it can be a waiting game....  

Anyway our team walked in the Philadelphia CHF Fundraising walk, and appreciated all the support and donations we got from our family and friends at that time.  So - we're hoping for some repeat support, and new support as well of course -- because you can never have enough research dollars to ways to diagnose, prevent, manage, and treat  congenital heart defects!!!

My commitment to making a difference in this cause has led me to participate in the  Congenital Heart Walk in Nashville, I spend a great deal of time in Nashville, as part of the music community there, and so have decided to support the CHF in Nashville.  This  event obviously carries immense significance for me. It's not just a walk; it's a stride..... toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission --- advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.  And just as importantly, it's about creating a supportive community-- sharing information, awareness, and encouragement --  for the families and friends of our heart warriors and heart angels.
