We are the proud parents of a heart warrior and are truly grateful for your visit to our team page! Our sweet baby Griffin was diagnosed at 26 weeks in utero with a rare CHD called Ebstein's Anomaly. Essentially his right side heart valve does not close properly causing blood to back flow, enlarging his heart and restricting the amount of forward blood flow to his lungs. This causes his heart to work a lot harder to get oxygen to his body. Griffins got a big heart, LITERALLY. It's more than twice the normal size. Griffin is a fighter and doing amazing but will eventually need open heart surgery. There is more unknown than known about his specific CHD.
