Donation Instructions

Donating Via Credit Card

  1. Go to https://secure.qgiv.com/event/nationalgridjany2019/donate/ in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Internet Explorer does not work well with the website.
  2. Select the Change Recipient button. Type in your name and hit Select next to your name.
  3. Select a donation amount or input your desired donation amount under Other.
  4. Fill out your billing address and other required information.
  5. Choose whether or not you would like to add a dedication with this donation.
  6. Select your desired privacy settings.
  7. Input your credit card information.
  8. Choose whether or not you’d like to help cover the credit card processing fees. This helps JA out a lot!
  9. Select Complete Donation.

Adding a Cash or Check Gift to the Website

  1. Log in to your account on https://secure.qgiv.com/event/nationalgridjany2019/login/in Chrome, Firefox  or Safari.
  2. Select My Donations from the left hand toolbar.
  3. Press the +Cash or Check button.
  4. Select whether the donation is a check or cash.
  5. Fill in the donation amount and donor information. Select Save Donation.
  6. Email Shahna ssherwood@jany.org Alex awyatt@jany.org letting them know you entered an offline gift so they can confirm it. Once they confirm it, the amount will reflect in your fundraising totals on the website.

Adding a Match to the Website

  1. Make sure you complete all the internal National Grid instructions.
  2. Log in to your account on https://secure.qgiv.com/event/nationalgridjany2019/login/in Chrome, Firefox  or Safari.
  3. Select My Donations from the left hand toolbar.
  4. Press the +Cash or Check button.
  5. Select the check option.
  6. Fill in the donation amount and donor information. For Donor First Name write: "National Grid match from" and forDonor Last Name write: your first and last name.
  7. Select Save Donation.
  8. Forward the match confirmation email you received from National Grid to Shahna ssherwood@jany.org and Alex awyatt@jany.org letting them know you entered your match on the fundraising site. Once they confirm it, the amount will reflect in your fundraising totals on the website.
